Where We Install LED Strip Lights
Closet LED Lighting
Walk-in closets, reach-in closets, and pantries benefit enormously from strip lighting. For closets we use a Shelly smart button — a wireless, battery-powered button that mounts anywhere inside the closet without running new wire through drywall. Minimal demo, clean finish, and the light is controllable from the button or the Shelly app. No more fumbling in the dark.
Cabinet & Under-Counter Lighting
Kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity cabinets, and open shelving. We route low-voltage wiring inside cabinets for a clean look with no exposed cables or external power bricks.
Wall-Mount Accent Lighting
Horizontal strips along accent walls, TV backlit setups, and architectural reveals. We install aluminum extrusion channels, connect to a compatible driver, and wire to a wall switch or smart controller.
Under-Stair & Step Lighting
Step lights and stair-side strip lighting improve safety and ambiance. We run wire discreetly through the wall or along the stringer and tie into a dedicated switch circuit.
Outdoor & Patio LED Strips
IP65/IP67-rated strip lighting for soffits, pergolas, and outdoor ceilings. Weatherproof connections and GFCI-protected circuits are required — we handle all of it.

FAQ
Can I dim LED strip lights?
Yes — we pair your strips with a compatible PWM or 0-10V dimmer. The driver (transformer) and dimmer must be matched. We select compatible components for smooth, flicker-free dimming.
Do LED strip lights need to be hardwired?
Not always. For most installations we use an AC adapter (driver) plugged into an existing outlet paired with a Shelly smart plug — clean installation and smart automation without running new wiring. For applications where no outlet is nearby, we hardwire a low-voltage driver.
What's the difference between cheap and quality strips?
High-quality strips use 5050 or 2835 SMD chips with 90+ CRI for accurate color rendering, consistent lumen output, and no hot spots. Cheap strips fade unevenly and flicker under dimming. We only install commercial-grade tape.
How long do LED strip lights last?
Quality LED tape lasts 35,000–50,000 hours. At 8 hours/day, that's over 12 years.
Will the installation damage my walls or cabinets?
Minimal. We drill small holes where needed for wire routing and use channel extrusion that attaches cleanly to any surface. Patching, if needed, is simple.
